Credits

The background waves are driven by data from a third-party ocean simulation. Below is the credit its licence requires.

Animated background

We extracted the simulation's height field from the model and re-encoded it as an image sequence, so it can be animated in the browser without downloading the whole mesh. Everything else in the background — the fine wave detail, foam, lighting and light beam — is our own work.
